Facilities Manager Jobs Vacancy in Schneider Regional Medical Center St Thomas Jobs Details:

PositionSummary: TheFacilities Manager under the direction of the Director of Facilities Managementand/or Vice President of Facilities Management will oversee the dailymaintenance of the facility, its operation, the Maintenance staff andregulatory compliance. The FacilitiesManager will also assist in the planning, design, renovation, construction,finance management and administration of projects for Schneider RegionalMedical Center. Work involves the management of actual construction activitiesin coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.Responsibilities include the regular inspection of facilities for repair andmaintenance purposes, the planning of work required, and estimates of materialcosts and man hours required. Liaison is maintained with all departments toensure that their support service needs are met in these areas. Work isperformed with considerable independence in accordance with prescribed rulesand regulations. Administrative supervision is exercised over maintenance staffin the Facilities Department.

Hazards & Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand/walk; good manualdexterity; work in areas that may be confined; exposure to extreme conditions,hot/cold; respiratory precaution due to occasional exposure to dust, fumes,gases; exposure to moving mechanical parts; exposure to potential electricalshock; moderate noise exposure; exposure to heights; some CRT use; exposure totoxic, caustic, chemicals; climbing, bending, crouching, balancing, reachingabove head, reaching above shoulder, twisting at waist, lift and/or move up to25 lbs regularly; lift and/or move more than 100 lbs frequently; lifting fromfloor level, from waist, from above shoulders/head; push/pull up to 50-75 lbs;close vision, distance vision, color vision, department perception, and theability to adjust focus.

Education & Experience: Any combination ofan associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field, along with applicabletrade certifications with 7 plus years lead or supervisory experience; or a bachelor’sdegree in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years lead or supervisoryexperience.

Specific Requirements: OSHA and otherindustry certifications preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
